Eleceed Chapter 263 will see the new awakener heading to take revenge on Kartein. This new guy must be the one who Kartein trolled. We can understand his anger. I mean, Kartein just did the “it’s a prank” in the worst case.

Kayden and Kartein are weak right now, so they can’t take on an awakener head-on. Kayden lost a lot of power and got injured because of his recent fight.

Kartein because he just used his too much healing on Jiwoo since he is injured. So if the new enemy comes to take revenge, they won’t be able to protect themselves. But they will manage it somehow.

I really wanted more of Kartein’s back story. It always seemed odd he was so respected for power but just used his healing abilities. Also cannot wait for everyone’s reaction to his new scar. Hopefully, Bae Noona doesn’t find it badly.

The way Sufri, Schneider, and Andrei address each other is different from how Sufri addresses this new villain. She addressed him as an awakener who has bad terms with Kartein since Kartein refused to heal him.

For Kartein ranks, as Sufri said, she cannot place him because they only know of his healing side, not his fighting skills.

I think Kartein has hidden his devil-side power (the black swamp). His power reminds me of Frankenstein when he uses his weapon. Like Sufri said, “he is a mystery”.

He doesn’t go around looking for fights like Kayden, who just wants to beat people. If the author is going to talk about Kartein’s back story, then we would get to know more about his power.

I have two opinions about who this guy is according to his injury to his neck. He is the guy that Sufri was talking about in the recent chapter, and he wants revenge on Kartein. Or he is one of the three guys that Kayden fought with, and he wants treatment from Kartein.

However, I could be wrong since the 3 guys Kayden fought are top 10. The chapter doesn’t say he is top 10. This new villain even said not to trust the information frame has sent.

He could possibly be someone from the top 10, but the possibility includes him being the guy that Kartein refused to heal (even Jisuk and Subin mentioned it somewhere in Chapters 121-123).

I was convinced Kartein was inferior to the top 10 rankers because of the way he acted when Andrei went full rage mode. Sufri and Schnauzer were not in any way worried about getting affected by Kayden and Andrei’s powers. But then again, he wasn’t in his best state.

At this point, I think I was right to say that Kartein is within the top 20. I’m not sure how this arc would go, but it would be foolish if this new guy stormed off to Korea to fight Kartein. The next chapter may contain flashbacks or any backstory of Kartein.
