Mrs. Watkins Mrs. Elizabeth Bowlby Watkins, 53, of Keatchie, died Wednesday in John Sealy Hospital of Galveston, after a brief illness. She was a native of Texarkana, and is survived by a son, Charles E. Gregg, of Denver, Colo.

Wednesday at his home, 432 Pennsylvania after a sudden illness. A native of Gilliam, Dr. Worley was born March 30, 1904. He had lived in Shreveport more than 50 years and established his practice in pediatrics here in 1928. A past president of the Shreveport Medical Society, Dr.
Worley had twice served the Caddo Parish School Board as president during the 24 years he was on the board. He was director of health services for the Caddo School Board's Title I program at the time of his death. Dr. Worley obtained his B. S.
degree from Centenary College and earned his medical degree from Baylor University School of Medicine in 1926. He was an intern at the old 1 Charity Hospital here and served as a resident in pediatrics at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee, for two years. In 1971 Dr. Worley was recipient of the Mr. Shreveport Award from Shreveport Optimist Club for his outstanding work with youth.
He was team phyisican for Fair Park High School's football team from 1932 to 1960 and was for many years basketball chairman of the YMCA. Dr. Worley was a member of First Baptist Church where he served on the board of deacons. He was a member of local, state and American medical associations. In 1950 he served on the White House Conference on Children and Youth.
He was a member of the Shreveport Country Club and a former member of the Lions Club. For 20 years Dr. Worley served as a member of the Selective Service Appeals Board, western district. He had served on the staffs of all local hospitals and had been a member of the staff at St. Ann's Home for Unwed Mothers from its founding.
Dr. Worley is survived by his widow, the former Dessie Mae Bostick of Pleasant Hill. Other survivors include two sons, Dr. W. H.
Worley of Shreveport and Penuel Hayes Worley of Little Rock, two daughters, Mrs. Richard Wolf of Shreveport and Mrs. Roy Jackson of Little Rock; his mother, Mrs. Penuel C. Worley of Shreveport; three brothers, Lewis Dale Worley, Dr.
Ross Worley and Dr. P. C. Worley, all of Shreveport, and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dr.
