Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and technical implementation requirements.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to determine the current and future direction of learning resources.
- Research business strategies and recommend best practices and technology changes related to the performance of Academic Product initiatives.
- Identifies product and process improvements that will result in the best potential outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Uses quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends in issues and create strategies and recommendations for improvement and resolution.
- Inspire, train, and develop team of librarians and curation strategists to select most appropriate learning and assessment resources and experiences (inclusive of simulations, multimedia, etc.).
- Approves proposed team initiatives that affect the learning experience and program development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Understanding of learning science, theories and principles and how they relate to learning experiences and student outcomes.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in online higher education
- Ability to collaborate effectively with academic departments, faculty members, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to develop and deliver high-quality educational programs.
- Experience in staff development, team building, and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Willingness to explore innovative approaches, incorporate emerging technologies, and adapt to evolving trends and student needs in higher education.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to inform decisions, assess program efficacy, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 5 or more years of related experience.
- 3 or more years leading and managing people, teams, or projects.
- Demonstrated success in bringing order and structure to complex situations.
- Experience with competency-based education and online education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circ*mstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
Pay Range: $62,900.00 - $103,700.00
